Occurred on June 11, 2017 / Verdigre, Nebraska, USA "We were driving down the highway on our way to Kolache Days in Verdigre, NE, to play a polka gig, when traffic began to slow down. We went to pass the slow vehicle and noticed as we passed by, there was a crazy sight. We pulled over and waited for it to come by so we could see it again and take a video. We were listening to Opeth at the time and as the strange sight came by and you realize it's a live bull in a car, the music changes perfectly. It wasn't until the car passed by a little that we noticed the bull defecated on the car." TO SEE THE HOTTEST VIRAL VIDEOS DAILY... The Medical ECMO Program: Transport Dr. Matthew Bacchetta: We were consulted on a very young patient who was essentially dying at another hospital not too far from our own. We had been planning on trying to do ECMO Transport for a while and we were looking for that opportune moment when we could do it, and this young patient happened to present. She was gravely ill, in fact by the time we arrived there she had already had a cardiopulmonary arrest. We put her on ECMO emergently and we transported her back. Thankfully she did very well, she’s alive and well today, and we took that experience along with subsequent experiences and developed a full-fledged ECMO program. Dr. Cara Agerstrand: Patients we transport on ECMO are typically people who have very severe forms of respiratory failure,...

We were coming back from Lexington Nebraska and while passing through Seward two vehicles were reckless driving racing, cutting people off, swerving in and out of traffic almost hitting other vehicles, speeding, and passing on the shoulder of interstate I-80. Multiple people called 911. Nebraska State Patrol did an awesome job, but were only able to catch one of the two vehicles.

Medics from across Nebraska gathered at the Mead Training Site, Sept. 10, for the 2016 Squad Medic Challenge. The challenge consisted of nine four-person medical teams, with each having to complete nine scenario-based lanes that tested their medic skills. According to Staff Sgt. Sean Delancey, non-commissioned officer-in-charge of the challenge, the scenarios were designed to not only test individual skills, but also how the medics work as a team. Eight of the teams were from the Nebraska Army National Guard and the ninth was from the 7246 Medical Support Unit, a U.S. Army Reserve unit based in Elkhorn, Nebraska.
